So I just recently posted on a nail polish haul and I couldn't wait any longer I had to to try them out. I used the Coco Nail Lacquer in Teal and Maiya Nail art Pen in black. This is the simple look I came up with, I didn't do the lines on all my nails because I still wanted to see the original color of the polish. It's actually  a teal color but it just doesn't seem to show up all that well on the pictures.

I also wanted to do my toes the same way but I felt the lines would muddy up the smaller nails so I ended up only doing the big toes. ;D I think it came out ok.

These are the polishes I used:
Bobbie clear nail polish
Coco Nail Lacquer in Teal
Maiya Nail Art Pen in Black

This is what I did:

I cleaned, cut and shaped my nails.
Then I coated a clear base coat to protect my nails from polish stains.
Next, I put on my base color which is the Coco Nail Lacquer in Teal.
After letting it has dried, on my ring finger and thumb, with the long thin brush of the Maiya Nail Art Pen, I made random horizontal and diagonal lines varying in thickness going across making them criss-cross each other.
After it has dried, I topped it all of with a clear polish to protect the color and design of my nails. ;D

I hope this has been of help.

Heart's Day

So we all know Valentine's Day is just right around the corner. Getting a little excited myself actually. As preparation for the occasion cause you never know what special people in your life have planned, you must be ready for anything and with that said, I have painted my nails which I think is Valentine's Day ready.

How I did this? It's really quite simple. All you need are 3 types of nail polishes. 1 Base/Top coat, 1 white nail polish and 1 pink or red  nail art polish. Any brand will do so use your favorite.

I used White Caronia nail polish, Nail Up pink nail art polish and San San clear polish to use as base and top coat.

1. Prep your nails with a layer of protective base coat to prevent stains and let dry.
2. With the white Caronia nail polish, I layered 3 thin coats letting each layer dry before layering the next coat of white polish.
3. After it has dried, I drew on little hearts randomly on each nail and placing tails on some heart while leaving some tail-less then let it dry.
4. To protect the design, I coated a layer of clear polish on top. and viola, you are done.

I hope this has been helpful. It would be nice to see you all try this and share with each other. Thanks for reading.  Have a  nice day!
